The Totems Series explores various mixed media on wood panel. These pieces combine marks, color, botanical design, paint, ink and pencil to tell a story full of unique symbols and personal history through found papers such as music scores, letters, maps, journal entries, logbooks and more.
This series utilizes stripes and analogous color to represent change. The process begins with a smooth black surface and ends with multiple layers of paint and collage that have been applied and sanded back thus creating artwork that emerges through subtle changes, vibrant color and interrupted line.

Devotion is a watercolor series on paper exploring marks, color and collage to create botanical themed artwork. I exhibited this work in my first art show in Oceanside CA in 2021 titled "So Many Moons."
